The Augustine Institute Graduate School of Theology, the largest Catholic graduate school of theology in the country, is entering its third academic year on its St. Louis campus as it continues forming Catholic leaders for a changing world. Currently serving students in 40 U.S. states and in 21 countries, the school combines accessible distance education with opportunities for immersive residential formation, including intensive courses, community life, and spiritual formation on its 286-acre campus. Through expanding programs in theology, pastoral theology, Catholic education, and biblical studies, along with a distinguished faculty and worldwide community of alumni serving the Church, the Graduate School is preparing clergy and laity to meet the needs of the Church today and tomorrow.

Dr. John Sehorn

 

Dr. John Sehorn is the Academic Dean of the Graduate School of Theology, as well as an Associate Professor of Theology. He specializes in the theology of the Fathers of the Church, with a particular interest in their scriptural exegesis. He received his doctorate from the University of Notre Dame and has been a member of the faculty at the Augustine Institute since 2015. He is currently co-editing the series A Catholic Biblical Theology of the Sacraments for Baker Academic.
